The deligent'staff, friendly ambience and flavour of the food and wine pairing's are impeccable!
Not being a wine drinker .. Wow was I converted !
Every mouth full of the St Hugo range of Riesling, Shiraz and Tawny was lovely. All 6 wine tastings were a 10/10. The Trio of Chefs on board are an excellent team and offer the diner a great experience from garden to plate. My tastebuds definetly found the best of The Barossa all in one place. Thank you for showing us a Wonderful time, we can't wait to return and be reacquainted ! 5⭐️

Let’s call it what it is: it felt like racism. There’s no other way to explain how differently we were treated compared to others around us. It’s 2025, this kind of behaviour is disgusting and unacceptable.
I don’t care how good the food might be. If you can’t treat people with basic respect, especially people of color, then your business doesn’t deserve support. I won’t be back, and I hope others think twice before going.

The experience at St Hugo was in no way a reflection of any sort of bias- we have a wide and diverse team of staff and always welcome a wide demographic of guests.
I understand that in this particular instance, a member of the group came to dine wearing a t-shirt that included an expletive word and highly inappropriate phrase on the front. Our team shared feedback that they felt uncomfortable given the nature of what was on the shirt, and we also had other guests comment that they were uncomfortable, including one group with a young child.
Our team continued to host the group for the dining experience as they had already been seated at this point, and delivered an appropriate level of service. However after having been open for almost 9 years, and given this situation, we will be reviewing internally our policy on acceptable dining attire.

His banter and sense of humour kept us entertained for hours. The staff very very professional and amazingly attentive. We watched the chefs at work ( Adrian, Josh and Charlotte) who all showed their skill under the watchful eyes of Simon. Our day at St Hugo sampling the food and wine were the absolute highlight of our visit to the Barossa.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience ..Simon made our day so much fun while we indulged in being wined and dined.
10/10!

Spare no expense here: it is an investment for the soul.
TLDR: If I could rate this more than a 5/5, I would - this is hospitality at its absolute finest. Service, food, and wine - all class. Spend the afternoon here and bathe in tranquil, good vibes and a near-spiritual sensory experience.
Food: Not a fault in any dish. Culinary perfection from entrees to dessert. Paired with the wines that Fed picked out for us, you may as well be consuming manna from the heavens. One elevates the other.
We had the misfortune of having a vegan in our retinue, and the chef tailored a 4-course meal perfectly to his exacting needs.
Service: Fed made the experience the absolute highlight of our trip. Jovial, knowledgeable, accommodating: the best that hospitality has to offer. The rest of the staff were also a class act.
Atmosphere: Tranquil space surrounded by greenery. You’ll dine in absolute comfort with the surrounds of SA’s best.

Beauty inside and outside at this Vineyard.
We walked in to an amazing space that was very inviting with the crackling of the fire and the smell of the amazing food that we were yet to eat.
The decor is beautiful - from the stone walls to the comfortable lounge chairs in front of the fire, to the sizeable windows that allow natural light to fill the space.
Then came lunch and of course the wine. The service was terrific, a little slow to get started but once the girls started they were fantastic and made sure we were made to feel very welcome.
Although the menu seemed restricted with choices it also was hard to choose from the selection as everything sounded amazing and tasted the same. WOW - delicious and the wine also complimented our meal.
The claim to fame for this place though for me was - THE BEST EVER CHEESECAKE I have had from a restaurant.... Seriously HEAVENLY.
Thank you St Hugo's - will definitely visit again when we come to South Australia.

Best wine tasting I've done. The wine was quality and the tawny worth every cent you pay for it. Did 3 tastings today and it knocked the other two out of the park for quality. Maso was incredibly knowledgeable about the science and history behind the grape growing, wine making and Hugo Gramp. Shame we didn't have more time to stay and enjoy a bite to eat. I'm sure it would have been amazing too. Hot tip: we went on Monday before lunch and it was just us. We got silver service as a result. I bet it is packed on a weekend

The private meeting room with the largest custom timber V shaped table I have ever seen, surrounded by floor to ceiling vintages of St.Hugo wines just elevates your expectations when you walk in the room. The journey you undertake for the next hour or so only disappoints when you have to leave.
We then had the privilege of having lunch in the beautiful St. Hugo dining room. The food is to die for and the staff are so friendly and attentive. You have to try the apple pie
Bravo Riedel and St.Hugo.

We were impressed as soon as we walked n to the dining room. The food and beverage staff were very accomodating, friendly and took care of all our requests. We had a few allergies and they were so kind in helping us. Including the chef who says hi 👋 when you walk pass the open kitchen.
We had a wonderful experience there and highly recommend that you pay the dining room a visit. The food is very well prepared and the chef took very careful steps
In making sure that our allergies were addressed.
The chef were jovial and made us feel very well taken care of with his delicious food.
We Weill definitely return to enjoy the wine, the food and the company.

During my recent visit to St Hugo Wines, I had the pleasure of indulging in a truly memorable wine tasting experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the winery, I was greeted by a staff that exuded warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for their craft.
The staff members at St Hugo Wines were exceptionally polite and attentive throughout the tasting session. They not only guided me through each wine with eloquence and expertise but also shared insightful information about the winemaking process, the vineyard's history, and the unique characteristics of each vintage. Their wealth of knowledge elevated the experience, making it both educational and enjoyable.
The ambiance at St Hugo Wines was nothing short of enchanting. The crackling wood fire added a cozy touch, casting a warm glow that enhanced the serene atmosphere. It created the perfect backdrop for savoring the exquisite wines and immersing oneself in the beauty of the surroundings.
What struck me most was the peacefulness that permeated the winery. The tranquil environment allowed me to fully appreciate the nuances of the wines, savoring every sip in a serene and uninterrupted setting. It was a sanctuary of serenity, where time seemed to stand still, and the stresses of everyday life melted away.
The selection of wines at St Hugo was impressive, showcasing a range of varietals that catered to diverse palates. From elegant reds to crisp whites, each wine was a testament to the winery's commitment to excellence. Every sip was a revelation, with distinct flavors and impeccable craftsmanship evident in every bottle.
In conclusion, my wine tasting experience at St Hugo Wines surpassed my expectations in every aspect. The staff's polite and knowledgeable approach, combined with the serene ambiance and exceptional wines, made it an unforgettable journey of the senses. I wholeheartedly recommend St Hugo Wines to fellow wine enthusiasts seeking a refined and tranquil winery experience that delights both the palate and the soul.

Gorgeous location in a modern building amongst the vines. Polished limestone walls, stone walling and earthy but modern ambience.
A very knowledgeable wine guide presents the 5 wines in elegant Reidel glasses. Tasting notes are on the placemat.
Cheap Shiraz is $99. The top year Shiraz is $240 a bottle if tasting turns to buying.
Wonderful wines and a chance to have your friend blind taste test you.
The tawny from 1970 at $240 was like bottled summer sunlight.we actually bought one, it was that extraordinary.
Great way to laze away a summer Sunday morning.

Well signed at entrance, but a dusty road leads you down to the building itself. Parking in abundance and about 150meters from the venue. Disabled parking available.
The exterior, while beautiful and finished with natural stone the Barossa is known for, does not compare to the interior. Spacious, beautiful wooden roof and large glass (uninterrupted) windows with 180degree views of the vines. Exposed beams in the seating room for larger groups is another level. Bathroom is also well furnished with naturals stone.
Tasting is $10 and not redeemable with purchase. Wines are on the more expensive end with most $50+, misting sitting around $80.
