2nd trip this year, 2025 Welcome tours and Travels, Managing Director Mr Karunanidhi and staff did a great job in accomodating my last minute request as there were some miss communication and my wife and I reached the airport and there were no driver to pick us up, to our shock .
A call to the Director and matters were solved proffessionally within minutes. The real issue was I forgot to confirm with them.
The rest of one week was smooth and well taken care till we fly back to Singapore.
A must mention is I have taken this agency for all my INDIA TRIP.
We feel like a family rather then just a agency. We can trust this agency director Mr Karunanidhi for an excellent holiday trip.

Sydney Mini Pack I did the Sydney Mini Pack with Welcome to Travel and I really enjoyed it. Olivia our tour guide has been really lovely and super helpful with advice and recommendations for places to visit and restaurants/cafes to try locally. Rosie and Nikki in the office were also really helpful in giving a presentation on what travelling in Australia could look like. Rosie was very helpful in helping me decide to travel in Tasmania and created it into a calendar for me so I know exactly where I need to be when. She tailored it to my budget and any specific sights or experiences I wanted to have while in Tasmania.

Moving to a new country on a working holiday visa can definitely feel overwhelming, but the Welcome to Travel team made everything so much smoother and far less stressful.

From day one, they helped us tick off all the essential setup tasks—getting our Aussie bank account, TFN, and SIM card sorted—which really took the pressure off and let us focus on settling in and exploring. One of the best parts, though, was connecting with a group of fellow travellers who were all in the same position. It was incredibly comforting to be surrounded by people going through the same experience, and it instantly turned the unknown into something exciting.

A real standout moment of the week was our one-on-one session with Haydn. He was incredibly helpful and took the time to walk us through all our options for work and travel in Australia. The tour itself was packed with amazing activities that gave us a proper taste of Sydney and its surroundings. A massive shoutout to our guide, Maz, who truly made the trip special. Her positivity, energy, and genuine care for everyone in the group were something else. She had a way of lifting everyone’s spirits and made us feel supported and encouraged every step of the way.

If you’re planning to start your Aussie journey, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s more than just a tour—it’s a launchpad into a new chapter, complete with new friends, great memories, and a whole lot of fun.

lovely people. We were also offered a one to one to help with the rest of our stay is OZ and it’s been super helpful. i went in feeling really overwhelmed not knowing what i was going to do next and how to go about housing and jobs but i’ve left feeling really relaxed and at ease
and all my questions were answered.

Welcome to Sydney review I did the welcome to Sydney tour and had the best week. Had Maz as my tour guide and she was amazing! All the information and recommendations she gave the group was the best! She so chill and easy to get along with, if you weren’t down to do something she’d work round you. Met the best people and had a great week. Trip of a Lifetime This tour was everything we imagined and MORE. Wow, this has definitely been the best month of our lives. The activities included/accomodation/meals were all great value for the money we paid, we keep looking back through our photos and can’t believe how much was included. The add ons were all optional and great price. We only added on the skydive as the tour itself includes all the activities you need. Our highlights were K’Gari, Byron Bay (with Chrissie) and Airlie Beach. The staff were always so knowledgable, helpful and couldn’t have done more to make our time along the East Coast so smooth. Airlie Beach scenic flight and snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef were insane - definitely a day we won’t forget. We travelled as a couple but there were solo travellers and groups of friends - all different ages. No one was ever left out, we became one big family and created friends for life. All we can do is thank Welcome to Travel for this experience.

Absolutely love the tour! Was the best experience entering into Australia meeting loads of new people and tour guides who are previous backpackers who know all the best spots. They helped us book our entire east coast route with great experiences and tours included! Honestly best experience and most rewarding! Even events continue to happen after finishing the tour! We had Mia as our guide and was absolutely the best she knew everything about backpacking, all the best places to go in Melbourne and all up the east coast! I did the Welcome to Melbourne tour with Alex as our guide. It has been an unforgettable week full of once in a lifetime experiences - especially the surfing lesson on Phillip Island. Alex was fantastic and ensured that the trip ran smoothly - it was a seamless experience. He genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best time possible and had extensive knowledge of every place we went to. Anybody lucky enough to be on one of his tours, is in for a great experience - we felt like a big family by the end of the week.

The Welcome to Melbourne tour has been a great way to settle into aussie life. The week had so many great experiences and the presentation and 1:1 meetings were so helpful for our future plans. All this wouldn’t have been so amazing without our guide Mia, she was brilliant and always made sure everyone was having a great time, always willing to answer any questions and we really can’t thank her enough!

We had such an amazing week with Mia as our tour guide! Reassuring a bunch of Melbourne and Aus newbies immediately with her in depth knowledge of the city and positive vibes, we felt totally at ease. The highlight was of course the road trip to Phillip island- surfing, seeing the tiny penguins and feeding the kangaroos were once in a lifetime experiences. Mia made the whole week super fun and personal, with thoughtful additions like showing us her favorite bars, making sure there was a great soundtrack to the road trip, and making me feel special on my birthday when it could have been very strange being away from home with a group of new people!

I recently did the "Welcome to Melbourne" tour, and it was absolutely amazing! Having my week structured from the moment I landed in Australia was a huge help. They even picked me up from the airport, so I didn’t have to stress about a thing from the moment I arrived.

The tour was an incredible opportunity to bond with loads of new people and get a real feel for the city. The guides are fantastic—so helpful and attentive. They really go above and beyond to ensure you're having a great time and assist with all the admin you need to sort out, which can be overwhelming when you're new to the country. The 1:1 meetings with the guides were super useful (just don’t go to these hungover!).

Our guide, Mia, was absolutely brilliant. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best time possible. By the end of the week, I felt like we'd become great friends. Anyone lucky enough to be on her tour in the future is in for a fantastic experience!

Highly recommend this tour to anyone new to Melbourne—it really makes the transition so much smoother!

This is an awesome program. The tour activities were excellent, such as the city walks, Penguin Parade, Maru animal park, and bar crawl. My tour guide Natasha was so fun, friendly, and knowledgeable—her personality and service definitely enhanced the trip! The one-on-one guidance and living support (like for the SIM card and bank account) was also very helpful and I valued it a lot. I wished some intensive one-on-one guidance was an option earlier in the week because I was a little anxious about figuring out my living situation all week long, but come to think of it, I think I would’ve liked to arrive a few days earlier to get my bearings before the intensive program. I recommend that—if you’re trying to work & live in Melbourne, consider arriving a few days before the tour so you get some time to figure things out on your own time.

Welcome to Melbourne is a great way to start your trip or travel/working visa in Aus. Our guide Nikki was so awesome. The tour shows you a lot of Melbourne and as well you do a little route trip to Phillip island. I must say that was the highlight. Grace exceeded my expectations as a tour guide! Nothing was too much and she had so much knowledge on everything I wanted to know! Where to begin!! Booked the “welcome to Melbourne tour” with my boyfriend Conor after seeing previous glowing reviews. I didn’t expect a fraction of what the trip was going to offer. There were plenty of surprises that were real showstoppers on top of the itinerary.

Every day was packed with fun activities and different sights to see. Having the expertise and knowledge from our lovely tour guide Grace was invaluable, as well as the laughs and dance moves! I have just finished the welcome to melbourne tour. I was so apprehensive before starting as this was my first time in a hostel and travelling solo but it has honestly been the best week. My tour group have been absolutely amazing, couldnt have asked for a better bunch of people. She has been there to answer any questions we have had and just made the whole week so much fun. There is so much to do and see and the tour covers a lot of it. I am very happy that I chose to book onto a Welcome to Melbourne tour for my first week in Australia! Everything that I needed to settle in was taken care of with ease and I have made some good friends and memories along the way.

My tour guide was Charlie Morgan and I feel genuinely lucky to have had him around for the past week. This is due to his friendly and welcoming nature, as well as being very knowledgeable and capable of answering any questions anyone in the group may have had… (Not to mention his all of his fascinating stories).

I’ve booked onto the Great Ocean Road trip as an extension to the WTT tour as I don’t want it to end yet and it’s such a shame this will be unguided because I’m sure everybody in the group will have preferred to have had Charlie around for a bit longer. All things come to and end though! All the best Charlie mate.

Best week of my life! If in doubt, just do it! I have made the most amazing memories, and met the most amazing people. Doing the welcome to travel takes off so much initial stress that you may have the first week of coming out, as this is usually the hardest part. Doing the welcome to travel Melbourne was great as it is such a cultural city and our tour guide Charlie was the BEST! I wouldn’t know half the insight that Melbourne has to offer if it wasn’t from his many many fun facts. I would not have wanted any other tour guide, Charlie made the trip and had so much knowledge and was amazing at accommodating all of us and just making everything as easy as possible, and safe to say he kept up as all VERY entertained the whole trip. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much, the hardest thing was saying goodbye and I want to go back and do it all over again already ❤️ LOVE YOUUUUU xxx

Nikki was a lovely tour guide who was super helpful, friendly and funny. The group was so nice and I made loads of new friends. There was a good balance of exciting activities and free time, and Nikki really helped the experience feel personalised and welcoming.

Welcome to Melbourne was truly one of the best experiences of my life! Moving to a new country can feel overwhelming and daunting, but with the support of the Welcome to Travel team (and tour guide Barbie- Nikki) I am feeling so much more confident starting my new life here! From setting up your bank account to feeding kangaroos- we did it all! If you are considering just doing all the things on the itinerary on your own and it’s not worth it-the friendships/connections that are made and the 1:1 life admin meeting is what impacted my experience so much more. If I did all of these things on my own- I would not have met the incredible people on my tour that I know call friends. Best Tour In Melbourne! I absolutely loved every minute of the tour from start to finish! From the first walking tour to the amazing Philip Island Road Trip, I couldn't of dreamed of a better start to my time in Australia!

I arrived to Melbourne feeling truly like a solo traveller, but after meeting all the amazing people on tour, I really felt like I had a new family that had adopted me into their lives. Grace (the most incredible tour guide in Melbourne), was extremely interactive with every member of our group and helped us through every question we had. Grace made us all feel like Australia was our home and by not even halfway through the trip, she really was more than just a guide but also an amazing new friend.

The rooms we were provided both at the hostel and the motel were brilliant! Space Hotel has to be one of the best hostels in the city, from the lockers and plug sockets above each bed to the kitchen and rooftop hot tub (which we made the best use out of) I couldn't find a fault with it. The motel was cozy with clean rooms and very close to shops and a bottle-o to stock up. Only there for 1 night but still managed to get a great sleep after a pretty wild night!

All the activities on the itinerary were amazing but I will admit my favourites were the surfing and the wildlife park. Even with so much to get through, it still didn't seem too packed as we always had time to ourselves for breaks in between most of the days.

Overall I can't recommend Welcome To Travel enough! If you are on your way or thinking of coming to Australia, book yourself onto one of their tours! It truly is the best way to start your Australian adventure.

I did the Welcome to Melbourne tour with Grace in May 2023. The tour was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t fault it at all. Grace was extremely friendly and helpful, and never struggled to answer a question, she’s such a credit to the Welcome to Travel team. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to Australia, whether that be by themself or with people already, you’re guaranteed to make friends for life and experience Australia in a whole different light!

Welcome to Sydney May 2023 Chloe was the best tour guide and always kept things entertaining and interesting! The tour was great with lots to do each day but also time to chill. Surf camp was amazing and my highlight of the trip.
