What an experience this was. Scott was so knowledgeable on oyster fishing/farming in Coffin Bay. Went the extra mile on taking photos for everyone with the oyster basket. Was great just to have a general chat with. Kian(I hope I’ve spelt that right) was great as well. Was happy to help with everything and was busy shucking all the oysters while Scott gave us the history lesson. Highly recommend this tour, it’s worth every cent and the oysters are the best in the world. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, sea lions and fur seals. Boat facilities are fantastic. It’s comfortable with a toilet on board. Windows that you can open if you want and a seat on the bow. Well done guys.

Out of this world Well where to start. This tour was everything and more. Firstly I just want to thank Linda for her behind the scenes juggling to get us on a tour after ours was cancelled by inclement weather. Thank you Linda. To our skipper Scott and first mate - Keana (I’ve probably spelt your name wrong sorry you guys were brilliant. I learnt so much today about oyster farming and truly now have a deep appreciation of the work that goes into making sure your oysters are superb. Thank you for your dedication to perfection. The wading experience was amazing. I loved it. The oysters were incredible (as always) and what an absolute bonus to see dolphins, sea lions, seals and crabs. We had the best experience. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Port Lincoln or Coffin Bay. Very comfortable boat with protection from the weather which was a bonus given it was windy and wet the day we were there. Stable boat don’t worry about sea sickness. We got to also see dolphins. Learnt a lot about the area and oyster farming and enjoyed beautiful fresh coffin bay oysters with sparkling wine and gin. Thank you for a great trip!

Oyster Heaven A fantastic experience! The Experience Oyster Farm Tour was relaxed, informative, and set in the stunning location of Coffin Bay. The Pacific oysters were incredibly fresh and full of flavour—definitely the best we’ve had. Paired with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, it was absolute perfection. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour Amazing tour, takes over 3 hours and absolutely fantastic. Delicious fresh oysters after wading around the boat beside the oyster beds. The operator was extremely knowledgeable with the history of the area and how oyster farming began in Coffin Bay. Well worth going.

With so many choices in Coffin Bay for an "Oyster "Experience " it was hard to choose. Experience Coffin Bay Oyster Farm tour was on the more expensive side, but worth every cent. For 3 hours I was immersed in the beauty, history, sights, sounds and tastes of Coffin Bay. The trip out to the Oyster Leases was comfortable with beautiful scenery along the way. Once at the lease we were provided waders to have a wonder around the clear waters, back in the boat we were then treated to an in-depth historical talk on the region and Oyster farming, very interesting. Freshly chucked oysters were served during the presentation, and my gosh, I have never tasted anything so pure. I have now been spoilt!
We then headed back home, stopping along the way to check out some local seal colonies and dolphins.
If you are wondering if it's worth the money.....yes yes and yes! Loved every minute of this trip.

We had an amazing morning, wading in the oyster farm, eating oysters fresh shucked by Lizzie the shucking Queen, seal and dolphin watching. Absolutely loved it!!!

What an excellent tour. The skipper and his crew member were brilliant and the weather was perfect for us. The wading experience was amazing and the water so crystal clear.
I am not a huge lover of oysters so just had a taste - they were certainly fresh.
On the way back we saw sea lions, an Australian Long Nose fur seal and some very inquisitive dolphins who played around our boat for a long time.
A perfect morning out on the beautiful bay - can highly recommend.

Perfect day out. Scott and Lizzy were perfect guides. On a 26 degree day we waded out in crystal clear waters into the middle of oyster farm. After some photos and a walk around we returned to the boat for a fun, educational talk and then enjoyed the freshest, tastiest Coffin Bay Oysters along with a bottle of wine. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Outstanding experience, well worth the trip and cost without a doubt. The tour was amazing, dolphins followed the boat and then we got to wade around the oyster farm in the middle of the bay - magical! Indulged in the best oysters I've ever had, and on the way back spotted some sealions sun bathing on the rock. One of the coolest things I've ever done!

Must do tour OMG what an amazing experience. We absolutely loved it. Scott and Sandy were lovely people, easy to talk to and gave us an amazing day out on the water. We put our waders on and went for a walk amongst the oyster leases. What a great experience. The information provided by Scott on the boat included the history of Coffin Bay oysters and a demonstration on how to shuck an oyster without stabbing yourself. If you love oysters or even just interested in the growing process, this is a must do when in the area.

Had a great time on this tour. Got the chance to wear waders and enter the freezing water without getting wet. Tried fresh oysters straight out of the ocean. Didn't really like oysters before that but now love the taste and will always compare others with one of the best in the world. Tour guides were very informative friendly and funny. Added bonus seeing some dolphins playing in boat's bow wave.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour! What a fantastic 3 hour tour of the oyster farms near Coffin Bay! Had two interstate visitors and booked us on this tour. The owners are the best to deal with and Scott who leads the tour is a wealth of information on the history of the oyster industry, super interesting presentation. Tasted the most plump oysters plucked fresh from the pristine waterways of Coffin Bay, absolutely the best oysters in the world in my opinion. Saw plenty of wildlife, sea lions, seals and a school of dolphins decided they wanted to come out and play following our boat!! Do I recommend this 4 hour tour? Definitely. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on and highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

The 1/2 day tour was fantastic, I would strongly recommend to add on your itinerary when visiting South Australia!
Putting on waders and walking through rows of oysters was unique, and being able to eat oysters freshly collected from the ocean will stay engraved in my memory for a very long time!
Finally, the guide’s knowledge of the local oyster farming industry made this trip very interesting and educative.

This was such a fantastic experience and certainly worth the eight hour drive from Adelaide! The views were stunning and water so clear to see so much marine life. We had what will undoubtedly be the best oysters of our lives fresh out of the sea. The tour guide gave a fascinating talk on the history of oyster farming in Coffin Bay, which we enjoyed with our wine. Three hours flew by. I will definitely go again if I make it back down to Coffin Bay. Thank you! :)

The tour was amazing! We are very happy with the activity and the crew. They were so friendly and explained many interesting things about the oysters and their history. Initially, it was raining, and we were worried the tour might be canceled. Fortunately, it wasn't because as soon as we started, the rain stopped, and we had a wonderful time!
The oysters were incredibly tasty—the best I've ever had.
To top it off, we saw seal lions and dolphins. Epic day! We highly recommend this experience!

Fun, unique and informative Coffin Bay experience Weather was overcast and cool but that didn't prevent a great day out on the water in Coffin Bay, wading amongst the oysters, learning a lot about the whole history and current farming practices and of course tasting some oysters with some bubbles on the side! Half day option is also ideal to then do other things in the area through the afternoon.

If you only go one thing in Coffin Bay do this tour Wow what a fantastic tour. Everything was perfect, the water was at its sparkling best and after about 30mins exploring the area around the Bay we donned waders and ventured into the shallow water right in the middle of hundreds of oyster beds. On the way back our captain and tour guide Scotty explained the history of oyster farming in Coffin Bay and how oysters are actually grown. There were dolphins swimming alongside our boat and we stopped at a small island where four lazy old sea lions tried to compete with the dolphins for our attention. I would highly recommend this tour and thought it was great value for money. Oh and we did get to sample a dozen freshly shucked oysters as well.

Although the weather is not great, I still enjoyed this tour very much. I’m so impressive how clear the water is. Scott brought us to see sea seals, and how excited we saw dolphins the end of the tour. Great tour!

We drove 750 km from Adelaide jus to see this amazing location. The tour, the boat and the staff were amazing. The tour was informative, 3 hours long and the oysters were magic. We saw Dolphins and seals as a bonus and the boat was nice and small. Only 12 of us, a very loooonnngggg drive, just so so worth it. 5 stars all the way. Fantastic experience Two-person crew were fantastic, skipper was very knowledgeable and entertaining when describing the history of oyster farming in Coffin Bay and the geological uniqueness of the area for producing quality oysters.
On our particular tour there were quite a few tourists and the deckhand was very capable in shucking the required dozens of oysters that were ordered.
The wading experience amongst the oyster lease was great and offered us the perspective of the farmers.

Like oysters + pristine waterwa6and scenery? Don't miss this. A must do when visiting Cockle Bay. The pristine waters are a marvel as is the scenery in general. The oysters were amazing and enjoyed with a glass of fine wine. The Tour operators/ Guides were as good as, if not better, than any I've experienced. Special mention to the young lady who did a great job of oyster shucking and was super friendly and helpful at all times. She even skippered the boat at times ( in training) and managed it perfectly - Well done!
Last but not least the history about the region and info about the oysters is fascinating. There's a reason these oysters are sought after all over the world!
Coffin Bay oysters will definitely be my number 1 choice from now on!

The Short & Sweet Tour was just as the name suggests! Perfect amount of time out on the water and absolutely delicious Coffin Bay Oysters that had been harvested that morning!

Such an awesome experience, Our tour leader was so knowledgeable and engaging. The oysters we ate were fresh from the ocean and the best I have ever tasted. A must do if your visiting the Eyre Peninsula.

High tides no wading at oyster farm Interesting and informative tour on a well designed boat. Though we felt a little deceived as the wading experience was on the shore and not on the oyster lease as depicted in the marketing photos. This was put down to the tide being too high. As the tides are known in advance it would be good if this information could be relayed to customers in advance of booking. In our case this would have affected our tour decision and how much we were willing to spend.

Perfect day We thoroughly enjoyed this experience with Scott and Lisa. Informative. Fun. Well organised. And a dozen straight from the sea oysters. Learnt the best way to shuck too. Highly recommended. Added by us was playful dolphins on our way home.

Wonderful Coffin Bay oyster experience Crystal clear waters no wonder coffin bay oysters are voted best I the world - delicious oysters straight from the sea plus saw sea lions, fur seals, cape baron geese stunning scenery and learnt so much about oyster farming and the history of coffin bay - also how to open oysters quickly and efficiently without injuring yourself from host Scott - a must if that part of the world.

Had a truly wonderful morning with the crew. I was surprised with how much work was involved with farming great oysters and our skipper did a great job of informing us of the industry. It was great to experience of using waders. Everybody was laughing and interacting was a great morning.

We did the short 1.5 hour tour and it was great. The boat was excellent and with windows all round it can go in almost any weather. The skipper gave a very informative talk and explanation of the process from spawning oysters to the final step when they are transported and on your table. Highly recommended.

Coffin Bay oyster treat History of the oyster industry by our host. Very informative. Totally unaware of the industry and its survival today

Over rated, over priced, under delivered. While we enjoyed our tour, there were many shortcomings. We toured a "new" Oyster lease, which simply means the infrastructure was there, but no Oysters. Blaming tide, when you operate tours almost daily, doesn't cut it, as if you're out there that often, or been doing it that long, then there would be leases, with Oysters, that we should have been able to access. The Oysters provided were not picked off a lease fresh as expected, they were already on the boat. They were also, I believe, seconds, as they were very small. This was our 6th dozen, since arriving in Coffin Bay, and by far the least in quality. My wife has had a reaction, (gastro), ever since getting off the boat. We also didn't get the opportunity to shuck the Oysters, which is strange, considering that is what the tour is about. The information given about Coffin Bay, and it's history, was very detailed, and very good. It was also very enjoyable seeing the Dolphins, as well as the Sea Lions. All in all, would we do it again, or do we think it was value for money, no.
We were both disappointed.

I love to applauded very good tour operators and this is one. From the purpose built boat, weather proof, comfortable, bar and toilet. One of the best tour guides on oysters and the Coffin Bay environment and the product , oysters OMG . Did not know oysters are best enten in winter. Plus we saw dolphins
and seals. Truly a wonderful 3 hour tour. Tour departures at different times depending on when is low tide.We got in the water in the waders provided, fun good photo opportunity.
